Hello Everyone.
Hope your week is going well. Happy Friday.
Today I am posting on some really sweet bikes pictures from my Pinterest board and some of my own past garden bikes.
I always loved having a garden bike.
The reason I am posting on garden bikes is because I miss having a bike and I am on the hunt for one.
I hope to find one and maybe add it out front of the condo building with some summer flowers.
Enjoy the pictures below and all the great bikes. I have added a lot of my past bikes to this post.

It is going to be like summer here in Illinois this weekend. I cannot wait. We will be back to cooler temps after the weekend but for at least a few days I will enjoy the summer temps.
When I find a new vintage bike and doll it up for summer I will post to show you how it comes out.
Have a great weekend. xoxo Kris |
So many charming bikes....I can't pick a favorite because I love them all!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!!!

I'm not surprised that you are missing your garden bike Kris! Thanks for sharing all of those wonderful photos with us all. It was particularly good to see some of your previous and beautiful ones. Enjoy those temperatures while you can. Gilly xoxo
ReplyDeleteKRIS!!! First of all, I was looking at the forecast for Minneapolis on my birthday, tomorrow on Saturday. It's supposed to be clear and 78!!!!!!! I hope you have the same my friend; OH, YOUR BIRTHDAY is today?????
ReplyDeleteI am getting my bike ready for some more photos this summer. There is nothing like feeling free and ready for an adventure on two wheels!
Wow, Kris, you've had so many great looks of your own creation! I like the partial in the wall... if the HOA balks at the outside decor. Otherwise, go gangbusters! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI always loved your garden bikes! Hope you can find on to use at the condo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kris!
ReplyDeleteI love the vast amount of creativity you put into all of your work! As usual ....everything is beautiful! I hope your HOA is lenient and will allow you to add some pizazz to the front of your building. Have a great day!

Oh! Aren't those fun?!!! I remember your garden bikes and always loved them. I can't believe I gave my own away...sigh...now wish I still had it. Have a wonderful weekend, Kris. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Kris. I have always loved your bicycles 🚴 you have a green thumb and I envy the beautiful flowers. Each one is so pretty. Good luck finding the right one. Happy weekend too. Xoxo
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed looking at your past bikes decorated with flowers Kris. I think each one is prettier than the next. It's great that you can get one for your condo. Enjoy your day and the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love bikes in the garden, Kris and yours were always so fabulous. Good luck on your bike hunt. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty, but yours were the best!!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute. Cute!!
ReplyDeleteGarden bikes are such fun! I always liked your bikes and the gorgeous way you "dressed" them. Happy Birthday! Hope it is a blessed and special day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo many cute bikes! I remember those pics of the ones you had. Hope you get to dress up the front of your condo with a pretty bike arrangement soon!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see one of these bikes I think of you. Do you think anyone would steal it outside the condo since you're on the 3rd floor? (I think you are anyway.)

There's just "something" about an old bike sitting in the garden, full of overflowing flowers.. that catches me every time! Yours were always just stunning! I hope you find one and are allowed to put it out in front of the condo. Everyone there will enjoy it I'm sure. I wish I had a "real" bike to actually ride! I used to have one as a child with that bell on it, which I loved so much. Enjoy this gorgeous weekend! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteHi Kris! Oh your beautiful bikes! I think my first blog visit was the "bike rental" bike post. I also adored your sweet she shed - that was amazing. Happy Birthday dear one! Jane
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Kris!! I need to find a bike and then ask you to decorate it for me. You have such a great eye. xo
ReplyDeleteKris, I love bicycles styled with flowers. I love all the pics, but your bicycles are my favorite. I hope you find one!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Kris. Hope you have a beautiful weekend and find that perfect bike! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love all of these. I have a red one in my backyard and white one in front. One time a guy came to pick up something I sold and he asked why I had a ghost bike in my yard? I had no idea what he was talking about. He said in Chicago when someone gets killed in a bike accident, people paint a bicycle white and leave it as a memorial!!! Oh well… I’m keeping my white bicycle lol!
ReplyDeleteYou have had some beauties. Good luck . I’m sure your HOA will love your beautiful taste. I was curious as to whether your condo has an outside area to sit and take in a nice spring day. Would love to see that!
ReplyDeleteHI Kris! Oh, there's just something about using bikes in a garden. I love all of these. Hope all is going well and again, thank you for your visit.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Ok, now darn-it, I need a bicycle. LOL
ReplyDeleteI have a bike in my garden, but it never looks as fabulous as your bikes.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of the garden bike for the condo.
ReplyDeleteThe city that Sam and Atticus live in have bikes on each street corner. The city decorates them for the seasons. I love it.
I love all these bikes. Each one is unique. I've always admired your own bikes. It will be fun to see what you come up with. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of sweet bikes! I've always loved garden bikes and have especially enjoyed seeing yours over the years! I hope you find the perfect one! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThis was fun, Kris! I remember lots of your bikes. I always marvel at your flowers. Hope you find a bike that works in your new space.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the bike pictures! Each year about Spring I tell myself that this is the year I am going to be on mission to get a bike and doll it up. Somehow that though seems to quickly get erased with other thoughts! I so need to do this though! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSorry for being behind I forgot a fee of your bikes.
ReplyDeleteWas your she shed adorable or what?
You're lucky your condo seems very flexible.
In NJ there are too many rules at condos
Happy hunting for a bike

What cute bikes..love them all. I have never had a garden bike..but you have given me an idea to get out an old trycycle from my daughter's childhood. They do not go fast so I know the grands would not be interested..lol (too, old school). .. Can't wait to see yours when you find it..I know you will. :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and inspiring collection! I love bicycles in garden decor. Wish I enjoyed riding them too but I don't... fallout from being a teenager with only a bike to get around town with!! Have a happy week! xoxox
