Your annuals and perennials are all just gorgeous, Kris! I'm swooning over the bike hanger on your gate. I need to be more diligent with fertilizing my flowers weekly so they grow nice and lush like yours. We've been here 4-1/2 years and still have blank spots in our flower beds. I add some annuals here and there each year and also into pots, but am hoping I can end up with all perennials. I can still get down on my knees and crawl around.. in fact, that's sometimes all I can do as hard to lean over sometimes! I can get down OK, but hard to get up! I hate old age. I have 10 years on you! just wait........ won't be fun. I'm envious too of your white picket fence and arbor. We just dug a flower bed across the back of our back yard and are going to have another bed there and I want mostly roses. Hubby is the one who suggested it, plus an arbor! I was surprised, but he knows I like the "cottage look" so I'm pretty excited. Fence may not come until next year, due to finances, but a girl can dream, right? As one other gal said, I go over everything you do and makes notes for myself (or put it on Pinterest) of ideas from your yard! It all looks amazing, the beautiful flowers and your uniques style of pretty chippy and unusual items to plant flowers in, and also to decorate around your garden. I love David Austen Roses, my Mum used to live very hear to them. We took her there, not only to buy roses, but also to look at their amazing garden area, which showed off their plants to perfection. I had to leave 2 of their roses in the garden of my cottage in Cornwall, when we left. I have three roses too; two are antique rose varieties and the other a David Austin - it's peach colored with a lovely fragrance. My climber is a little red one. I have a trellis beside the studio window. I'm hoping it will grow a lot this year. It's so much fun to plant and watch things grow, isn't it?
