I have been working on my Spring/Easter mantel and a few other areas around the house. It is hard to think Spring when there is 8 inches of snow outside!!! With Easter being early this year I decided to start on some of my decor. So here are some of my new spring decor added around the house
My lamb cake cast iron mold I got at the flea market this past week end has found it's way onto the tea cart and joining in is the Easter Bunny. |
I had this old piece of picket so I started with that and just added some daisies through the fence and then added the old architectural pieces I had. |
Added some old chippy bird houses and a little garden bunny. |
Every garden scene for Easter must have an Easter Bonnet so I added a garden hat to the chippy post. |
Old chippy bunny made out of old pieces of left over wood. |
My little garden Easter Bunny and my garden boots. |
I have my chippy bike all ready for Spring. |
I added some spring flowers and ribbon with garden decor and a cute nest to the french door leading out to my deck and garden. |
Added some Spring touches to the entry way. I love to use nests with some of my vintage decor. |
Even the birdhouse in my dining room got some spring flowers added to it |
Bird houses bring Spring into the decor. |
Added a little bit of Spring to the top of the entertainment center. |
Just adding a watering can filled with spring flowers. |
I love birdhouses and nests as part of my Spring decor. |
This old vintage umbrella I added some spring flowers
in the kitchen. It's definitely spring at your cottage! I love all the bird houses you've got sprinkled around, and the polka dot umbrella is a fun pop of color in your all white scheme. Now we just need a few days of warm sunny weather!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vickie,
DeleteEven this white and cream girl needs some pops of color. Hope you are doing great and having a great start to your week.
Kris

Thanks so much Suzan. It is a mess to look outside. I am hoping with the 40 degrees they are saying at the end of the week some of this will melt. Thanks for coming by.

It definitely looks like Spring inside your home even though there's snow on the ground outside. LOVE the garden scene on your mantel, especially that great little fence!

Kris
I know I always say the same thing... BUT, I'm serious! I LOVE your home. You are so creative and I could just stay here all day looking at all the pretty details! I will be painting a pair of my kid's rainboots for sure... The white boots, the chippy stool bench, oh my, so pretty! I love it all! So pretty and ready for spring! I'm so glad you share your talent here!
ReplyDeleteI prefer looking at your beautiful whites in your home rather than the white stuff that will be falling outside my window any moment!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kris,
ReplyDeleteI am on the lookout for an old umbrella now. Going to borrow your idea and fill it with flowers for my front door.
Keeping my fingers crossed that you will win the contest.
