With all the snow we are getting this weekend we will be stuck at home. Good opportunity to paint the walls!!
I will show you the difference the lighter color of paint will do for this room.
The Gallery White will be lighter and brighter and will pull my creams, grays and whites together nicely.
As soon as we get the walls painted and some of my decor back up on the walls, I will show you how that is coming together in my next post.
Still trying to be patient while waiting for the new sectional to come in to complete the new spaces.
Have a great weekend. Kris |
GOOD MORNING! Excellent project to take on with snow coming in! Oh Kris, those roses, how gorgeous they are!!! I can't wait to see what you create!
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, Kris. People have NO IDEA how kind you have been to me over the years of friendship--nor what it means to me. You deserve every good thing that comes your way just because of YOU being YOU! Can't wait to see your walls painted and hope you have a pain-free day to do it (or make Terry do it for you). lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteO MY!! How nice of Diana to send flowers to brighten your day. This is exactly what I wrote about in my post, Feeling a Bit Disenchantment with Blogging! I miss the gentler more personal time when Bloggers were Friends and not trying to compete for Ad money!! Your home always looks so lovely and I do hope you are feeling better!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet friend you have....the flowers are beautiful!!!!! I can't wait to see the lighter wall color. I have decided to go with a lighter color for my walls too. Like you we are having lots of cold and gray days with high winds. Looks like we will both be staying in and painting?!?

ReplyDeleteHi Kris pretty flowers and I imagine they smell wonderful. Love the soft colors too.
ReplyDeleteI can absolutely see the difference in the paint.
We are under a state of emergency for Sunday due to plummeting temperatures. Getting some snow and rain. Sunday night the state at least by us will be a sheet of ice.
Snow we can deal ice a nightmare
Stay warm
Cindy

What lovely flowers for a lovely lady and from a lovely lady! Diana is a sweet friend of mine too and I just cherish our friendship! One of the best things about blogging is the friendships we make, oh what a blessing. Now to your colors, they are so soft and beautiful! I love your decor, your home is gorgeous, Kris!
ReplyDeleteTake care and have fun painting!
Hugs,
Nancy
Diana's flowers could not have been designed to be more perfect for you and that room. What an exquisite arrangement! I think I am catching a little of that sweet perfumed scent!
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to seeing this already beautiful room become even more so,
Dewena
Those flowers are so pretty... love the pinks of course! Roses have such a wonderful aroma.. especially "real" fresh ones right off of the rose bush! I'll be anxious to see your new paint color. I swear, you paint more often than I run my dishwasher! We've lived here over 3 years and have as yet to finish up the painting we started before we moved in! Neither of us are painters... we both hate it! My one bedroom wall still has blue on the bottom, where we "were" going to put white beadboard, but never did. The main bath is still a dull ugly white, that I want to paint light gray to match my other bathroom, and the 2 bedrooms are still the original colors! I wish I could be on one of those TV shows where someone comes in and redoes all the rooms, in about 1/2 hour! ha ha. I wish hubby and I were more handy with the "handiwork" that needs to be done around here. I would love to show this little house some love. Have a great Sunday! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good time to stay in and paint...and smell the flowers, too! Diana is such a sweetheart!
