| I think most of you that have followed my blog know that my husband is a Fire Chief and my SIL is also a firefighter. This year for Easter Weekend we are going to Michigan. My youngest daughter and husband and my little grandson now live in Michigan. It is our year to have them for Easter. I am excited we will all be together. I decided to rent this great Airbnb that was an old firehouse that has been converted to a Airbnb. I thought it would be a fun way to celebrate Easter together this year. This old firehouse is in Muskegon Michigan which is right near Lake Michigan. |

| The owners left a lot of the old firehouse during renovations. The brick walls and built ins. They made use of some of the antique originals to the firehouse. |

| This is off the living room. It is a sweet little coffee and entertainment bar. |

| This is probably my most favorite room in this old firehouse. This is the outside entrance into a gorgeous sunroom. |

| Nice place to wake up and have coffee in the morning and watch the world go by. |

| I can see us making s'mores and relaxing at night around this fire pit area. |

| You can see from this aerial shot of the fire house and how close it is to Lake Michigan. Muskegon holds many childhood memories for me. My grandparents had a home up here and we would spend every summer at the lake. Winters were fun too. Their home sat on 10 acres in a wooded area and we all had snowmobiles to ride. |

| Okie Dokie here is my sneak peek at the new wallpaper and a unique treasure I found recently. The old window I had. The iron gates I found at a sweet vintage shop. I loved the patina on them. Once I get all my decor up I will do a post on the new change ups. Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend. We are finally getting some nice weather that might hang around. Yesterday was the first day of Spring. I just hope Old Man Winter got the memo!!! Hugs, Kris |

Kris, that is the cutest AirBNB! It is very spacious and I love they kept so much of the original. It will be a charming place to make lots of memories. I love the sneak peek and will be looking forward to seeing more. I am glad you are having warmer weather. It is supposed to be 88 here on Sunday after three mornings that were in the 20’s this week!

Today it is 29, the high is 29!!! Old Man Winter is still hanging around.
