Woodland Theme Baby Shower

My Daughter Jen, myself and my youngest daughter Kimmie and my current youngest granddaughter Charlotte.
We had my youngest daughters Baby Shower yesterday and it was so sweet and nice.  We will have a new grand baby in about 6 weeks.  Boy or Girl??? They want it to be a surprise.

I will share a couple of the prizes I did up for the games at the shower and show a few pictures of the shower and it's Woodland Animal theme.

The above Sangria is from Cooper's hawk.  It is a light Sangria.  You add some fresh fruit and a little bit of Sprite and you have a refreshing cocktail for a summer day.  I tied each of the bottles off with some Fall flowers.

Another prize was these cool ice bowl dip servers I found at
Home Goods.  You put ice in the bottom and put your dip on the bowl on top.  Keeps your dip cold during your get togethers.  I added a great chocolate chip cookie dough dip with each bowl.  This dip is sooooo good.

This is my daughter Kim's first baby and they do not want to know the sex of the baby.  They want it to be a surprise.

This prize I took pink and blue bottles wine and added these cute Shabby Chic Wine glasses.
I had prizes for a winner at each table during the games.

I want to share a cute little gift I found and passed on to my daughter Kim's MIL at the shower.  This will be her first grandchild.
This box is a picture frame that you add a picture of you and your grandchildren.  There is a cute poem that goes along with this
magic box.

You hide a candy like a sucke, cookies or little gift inside the box and then when your grandchild or children come to visit they go to the box and slide it open to find a cute little surprise from Grandma.

I loved this gift.  So cute and fun to create memories.  A nice gift to give to a new grandma or a grandma with grandchildren already.  Now that my grand girls are getting a little older I hide candy and maybe a little $5 bill when they come over.
They love to shop and save up money for Target lol!

We did a woodland animal theme.  I did a post awhile back and made up diaper cakes for each table for centerpieces.  Each diaper cake was a different woodland creature and a story book to go with them.  This way Kim had all of these animals, diapers and books to take home for the new baby to be.

We had woodland theme deserts that were so yummy.

My older daughter Jen has a friend that made the cookie favors for each of the guest to take home.  She is so talented and made these delicious sugar Cookes that look like works of art.

The room was so pretty and faced the golf course.  We all had a great time all together to get ready to have this sweet blessing come into our lives very soon.

I will be excited to be a MiMi again to the new baby.  I have my two granddaughters from my oldest daughter and they are 13 and 7 years old.  It is time for a new baby for sure!!!

Have a great start to the new week.
Hugs,
Kris
