This is the beginning of re loving this piece into a new piece. I am not a fan of the knotty pine look. Stay tuned to see how this will turn out. Of course it is starting a whole switch a roo in my living room.
I think when I get the pieces all in place and move around some decor items I will have this looking good.
Have a wonderful weekend. It has been in the high 90's all week with very little rain. My flowers have needed drinks of water two times a day. Next week hopefully we will be back into the 80's and the stifling heat will be gone.

Gorgeous Kris!! It's such a bummer that the old company didn't stand behind their product. However, the new sectional is so beautiful and looks great in your room. I also love the corbel shelves. I actually bought a pair at the thrift store recently, but had no idea what to do with them. Now I do!! Love the look!! Can't wait to see what you are doing with armoire...I need you to be my Facebook personal shopper!! Have a great weekend!! xo
ReplyDeleteKris, the sectional is so pretty and it looks great with the corbel shelves. It looks like you and Terry will be comfortable on the loungers. I can't wait to see what you do with the Armoire. We've cooled down yesterday and today from a heat wave we had. The weather feels so cool now. I hope the weather cools up for you and have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove your new sofa......so pretty! The corbels shelves to replace the end tables was a clever idea. Can't wait to see how your armoire project turns out.

It looks fantastic, Kris. Terry works wonders, and that works great. I love your home, and even though this sectional was a little tighter fit to start with in accommodating end tables, my first thoughts were how you could've never done that in the condo. Your solution here is perfect.
ReplyDeleteReally hot here too all week, but we got a surprise 2" of rain Thursday evening, so it was Nature's gift for me not to have to water yesterday!
How annoying to have a warranty and not have it honored. Thank you for sharing your experience. It will hopefully save us from making the same mistake. That said, I love your new sectional. It’s really pretty. I’m not a fan of knotty pine either. I can’t wait to see the armoire all painted - it will really make a huge improvement! Love your solution for end tables too. Those corbels are fantastic! You’ll have your room looking wonderful in no time, I bet. I hope your weather goes back to normal.

Kris, nice couch! I hope it continues to be a successful purchase!
ReplyDeleteWe are giving a lot of stuff to Blue Ridge Hospice charity - certainly our couches.
I like this color! The end tables are a terrific idea. What do we use end tables for anyway, cups and remotes.
It was very hot here, but not the worst we ever had or anything. just 90's
and not much rain really,
Next week is supposed to be a bit cooler. Clouds sure help!
Enjoy your new couch!
Love the new couch. Great find on Marketplace too. It will be beautiful. I can't wait to see it finished. Enjoy refluffing! Cindy
ReplyDeleteHi Kris. The new sofa is gorgeous. Love the double ends and your solution for end tables. Very clever you are. As you probably remember I had the same problem with our sofa from Wayfair. (I will name them because it is such a rip off). I will never buy from them again or buy an extended warranty. Can't wait to see that beautiful cupboard transformation. Hope you are enjoying summer so far, my friend..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteYour new couch is gorgeous, and I love how you can both be so comfy on either chaise! Looking forward to seeing the end product of you re-do!
ReplyDeleteKris, your new sectional looks beautiful. How clever you are using the corbels as end tables. The armoire is lovely. Can't wait to see the transformation. It is heating up here. XO
ReplyDeleteI love the it all. You have given me some ideas with a hutch that I have. Last week you gave me an idea for a table I plan to paint. ;-) All of these ideas are being pinned. We have decided that yes, we are going to move. We will work on getting our home ready and have it listed in August. The hunt is on for a new home for us, I do pray to be closer to our kids who live in Eau Claire.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited to see what you do with the armoire.
That is to say ... I love it all. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a fantastic looking sectional, Kris! I LOVE IT! I put our old navy blue leather sectional in our main living area because of the two pups that come in and jump on it and wrestle and play with their toys on it....yep---I am THAT dog mom. I so miss having my white sofa!!! I just feel like it makes the whole room feel 'dark'.
ReplyDeleteMindy has a LoveSac sectional and it is SOOO comfortable but the smallest unit they make would be too big in here, I think. Sigh...wondering if I will ever use my white sofa again--right now it is upstairs in the 'loft' room.
HOT HOT HOT here...It's awful--just like your weather. Can't wait for a break and cool down. xo Diana
Love the new sectional! Looks comfy and inviting. Hope it holds up well for you. How in the world did you get that huge armoire home and into your house?!
ReplyDeleteLoving your cozy French chic living room refresh, Kris! The new sectional sounds dreamy fingers crossed it holds up better than the last.
ReplyDeleteYour corbel shelf lamp solution is genius, and I can’t wait to see how the armoire transformation turns out.
Stay cool out there this heat has been relentless!
So sad that you didn't get the customer service that you deserved Kris! Your new sectional looks beautiful and you and Terry have solved the problem of where to put your lamps beautifully. Looking forward to seeing your new piece of furniture finished. Stay cool in this intense heat - I am guessing that you have got very high temperatures too! Gilly (UK)
ReplyDeleteYour sectional is fab! Love the corbels and lamps. Everything looks so nice! The armoire is a beautiful find, too.
