What to do with baskets and Mirror wall complete

I finished up the open spot on the mirror wall so this is complete.

I really love how the mirrors reflect light in the room.

I have a thing for baskets.  I do not understand it but I just love baskets.  With that said where to you put all the baskets right?  I decided to put some of them on top of the cabinets in the kitchen.

Now I can grab them when I want to use them and I do not have to shove them into a closet to store.  They are much more accessible.

Hope your week is going well.  I leave tomorrow morning for Seaside Florida.  I have never been.  A girlfriend and I are taking a few days to check out this area.  We have been told it is a cute and fun place.  We also will be right near Rosemary Beach.  We both love to explore new areas.  Hope to find some cute shops and great places to eat.

Hugs,
Kris

  1. Hi Kris! Your completed mirrored wall looks fabulous! I have had a thing for baskets for years. I have some on top of my fridge, above my kitchen cabinets, above my hutch, etc.
Have fun in Seaside. I was in that area several years ago with some of my family. You and your girlfriend will have a good time. 😊

  5. As usual, everything is lovely, although I would put that one smaller horizontal oval mirror above the mirror it's under, just switch them. That big mirror above it looks top heavy and not balanced overall. Just an idea.

  8. this wall looks wonderful, it looks restful. I have a really old mirror that belonged to my dad's parents. it is not fancy, but it is unusual and I remember it from my child hood, visiting their house. I do not think I can keep it, but I hope my niece will take it.... or perhaps my nephew. It is worth preserving.
Have fun in Florida! I have never been... Gosh, and a beach named after me and everything.

  17. Kris, the finished wall looks great. Im in the camp of stuffing baskets in the closet. They're nested nicely, but it's like a Jenna puzzle to get one out!
Enjoy Seaside. We really enjoyed our trip there. We rode bikes all through the area and WaterColor and Rosemary Beach.
