It's Beginning Sneak Peek

I get a jump on my holiday decorating.  My daughter hosts Thanksgiving and I do Christmas.  With my daughter hosting Thanksgiving I can start my decor early.  Love to have the house  sparkling and pretty lights at night.
This is my silver bird tree.  This back part of my kitchen has the deck that leads out to the woods.  I have decorated this part of my kitchen with chippy birdhouses and garden things.
It only seemed right to have my silver tree with white birds in this back  area.

It's hard to capture just how pretty this tree is all a glow.  I just love the pretty lights at night.

A blogger friend made my angel with bird topper years ago.  I love this sweet angel.  She is the guardian angel of all the birds.

I added my light up white packages under the tree.

The birds seem pretty happy to rest on the pretty lit branches.

Here is a sneak peek of my other Christmas tree.  Will have that up in a future post.

Sneak peek at my long mirror with lights and beautiful angel wings.

I love this Debi Coules Angel I got a few years ago.  I put her on  vintage angel wings on the mirror.
In case you are wondering how she is hung on the mirror she is hung with see through white ribbon that goes up to the top of the mirror and hooks there.
I was going to hang the beautiful angel with command strips but even with them saying they hold up to 5 lbs I was not going to chance it with my one of a kind angel.  The ribbon worked well.
Stay tuned for more Christmas Decor posts.

This time of year goes so quickly.   I love that I can get my decor up early to enjoy it longer.

How about you do you decorate early or combine both holiday decor or do you start with Christmas after Thanksgiving.

Have a great new week.
Hugs,
Kris

  1. Oh Kris, your sparkly tree looks heavenly and I can only imagine how beautiful it is at night when it’s all aglow. I love angels, and cherubs and it was nice getting a sneak peek at them. I’ll look forward to seeing more.
I’m still into Fall because I love it so much and wish it lasted longer.

  3. Pretty, pretty, pretty. But, I'm holding my breath for the green one...I'm just so traditional. Grins, but I have a frosted one for the bedroom if I put it up! Love all the birds, houses and flowers...I'm a true garden freak at heart! Sandi

  4. Kris, everything looks so merry and bright! I love that sparkly white tree and those fun packages underneath. I bet you could just sit in a chair and stare at that corner, all lit up, for hours. Gorgeous! I'm so glad you used a wire for your angel. I don't trust those command hooks. They seems to stick too much when you want to remove them - taking 1/2 the wall with them - or not enough once you load them up...and she's too pretty to chance it! Merry merry my festive Christmas friend!! xo

  5. Kris, so beautiful and the sparkle is peaceful. I always enjoy seeing the you angles. So smart to use wire. I use command hooks for light items. I wouldn't trust them with something so precious. Enjoy all the sparkle. Hugs, my friend.

  9. I love your tinsel sparkly tree. It is never really too early to set up Christmas decorations. I know some ppl that keep their stuff up all year... oh well
Good caution about the 3M hooks. I never use them for hanging expensive stuff.
This year just zoomed by. I can't believe it really!!

  11. I love your pretty silver tree. It really makes that corner so cozy and sparkly. I am hosting Thanksgiving this year so Christmas decor will have to wait until Black Friday. But I’m planning in my head! Enjoy yours!

  12. Kris, everything looks so pretty. Your white tree is glowing. Love the packages under the tree, the hanging angel is gorgeous. So glad you are using wire to support it. Do you ever use the angel mannequin I sent you? So special you have the opportunity to decorate early and enjoy the festive look longer. Hugs
