Winter Birds

My sweet little birds with their coats and hats for the cold winter months are in the front entry.  Target each year brings out a set of winter birds and I have purchased a few sets in the past years.  I think they are adorable with their fur hats, scarfs and coats.

We had snow last weekend and cold temps.  This weekend we could hit 70!  Crazy weather here in the midwest.  I was sad to have to retire my flip flops for winter and pull out the boots.  I will enjoy having these nice temps this weekend.  Not warm enough to pull back out my flip flops but at least it will be nice to not have to put on boots and a heavy coat.
I keep telling Terry I need to live where I can wear flip flops year round!!!!
Have a great rest of the week.
Hugs,
Kris

  3. Those are the cutest winter birds Kris. I love how you have it decorated in your front entry. It looks so cute that you could leave it up for all winter. It seems so early for snow. It's been cold here this week and the weekend will be in the 50s. Enjoy the weekend Kris.

  5. Kris your winter birds resonated with me so much years ago when you shared them. Of course I just loved them and now have a few of my own. I put mine out after I take all my Christmas decor down and leave them up for winter. Here in KY our winters drag on like yours I’m sure. Margy in KY

  7. Just darling those cozy little birds! I love those springs behind them with the candles too! No flipflops here! Though is still pretty mild and in the 50's. We've had 1 night down to 39. That was a fluke as most nights in the 50's! I had put my winter quilt on my bed but it's too hot for it! Enjoy your mild weekend! Hugs, Marilyn @ pinkpapercottage

  12. Kris, these little birds are the cutest! The way they're lined up reminds me of how birds get on electric lines in winter. Sweet.
