We took a drive to Michigan this past weekend.  I visited one of my favorite shops called
Garden House Vintage
It is located in Kalamazoo Michigan.

The picture above is my dining room window we filled with the old architectural find this past winter.

Now that summer has arrived we have a beautiful view of the woodlands behind us.  I wanted to open the window up to see all the beautiful trees and wild life behind us.

New bamboo shade was installed and window now open to the back.  Natural light flows in this window all day.  In the late afternoon the sunshine fills my dining space.  Today when these pics were taken it was overcast and getting ready to rain.

Whenever you visit the Kalamazoo area you must stop at
Sweetwater's Donuts.  They are the best donuts ever!!!!  
So many wonderful flavors and designs.
I hope Sweetwater's will expand and come to Illinois.  Right now they are only in Michigan.  
I tell ya I have never met a donut I do not like but these are seriously special  donuts.
If you are ever in the Kalamazoo area these are not to be missed.

This awesome fence piece came home with me.  I will show you in a following post how I will make a garden motif with this beautiful piece. I will also show you some more of the  treasures I found at
Garden House Vintage.
