| I wanted to let go of the orange/gold that was on the original. It was a beautiful patina but really not for my decor. So we tried to tweak it with some cream paint and then tried to sand some of the spots. It did not work very well. I envisioned this for a coffee table and it was too tall. |

| So Terry and his handy tools cut it down for me so the height would be good for a coffee table. Otherwise it would have a looked like we pushed a dresser in front of the sectional. He cut out the one drawer and cut that cool wood top and rebuilt this piece into a coffee table. |

| This is the new coffee table made out of the sweet dresser. I just love the claw feet on the front. Now I have some storage for throws and books with the drawer functioning. |

| I have a few more architectural pieces I scored at the market. We are tweaking them a little bit and I will have those to show you in the next post. Oh wow! Terry is amazing and I love this dresser as your new coffee table. It looks so nice and once again you are lucky to have Terry change things up for you and make new furniture! Enjoy your new coffee table.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT!! What a great idea! We cut the legs on a round end table once to make it a coffee table, but the dresser drawer just makes it so unique and cottagey!! You always have the best ideas and Terry is the handiest guy around!! Can't wait to see the sectional surprise!! You know me, I love a good update!! ❤️
