Bathroom Reveal

Hello Sweet Blogging Friends.

I have the bathroom pretty much finished at the new JCC#4.  It was a complete re love.

Old bathroom.
Everything and I mean everything in this old bathroom was taken out and all new put in!

New bathroom.
It is hard as most of you know to get a good picture of bathrooms.
No good natural lighting.
That makes it hard to show how pretty it really is.
I like this blessed sign in the bathroom.
I see it every morning to remind myself how blessed I am.

We had a company called Bathfitters come in and re do the tub and surround.
They come and laser measure your bathtub and surround and custom make pieces to fit your space.
Then they come back and install this in one day.  No mess and torn up bathroom for weeks.

They put in all new Moen fixtures

Keeping it real!
Did not straighten up the shampoos and soap etc. for the pics lol!

Brand new flooring.
This is a laminate floating floor that fits right over the old floor.
No tearing out of the old ugly tiles.
It withstands water spillage too.
It snaps together easily.
We got this at Lowes.
It is white wash with gray tones.

Added a little cottage blue to the gray and white.

This is the shower curtain for now.
I have a new shower curtain I am making with the help of a friend that sews coming soon.

For a little home this bathroom was pretty good size.
I was able to fit in this storage piece I found at Home Goods.

Along with the new vanity we got this pretty gray and white counter top.

Found this sweet vintage looking faucet on Amazon.

That is our new bathroom in JCC#4.

I will have the update on the new pantry in a few days.
The kitchen is coming along and I am waiting on the curtains for the living room.

Hope to have our bedroom to show you soon too.

Have a great rest of the week.
xoxo
Kris

  9. Kris, I love it. The mirror is so sweet. I know that's your idea. Now you have a touch of color and it still looks refreshing and not cramped . Great job. I really like the idea of someone doing the tub and surround, without a mess. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  11. Oh my gosh, Kris...this is gorgeous! I am so envious of your new bathroom. We've lived here 29 years and our bathrooms have only had new flooring, vanities, toilets and lighting. We still have the original bathtub, shower and surround! We need a remodel SO bad. I have some questions about Bathfitter for you, so I will email you privately later.

  27. You have the Midas touch Kris! Truly, everything you touch is golden (or white lol). Having said that, I just saw your other post and love, love, love the blues you shared, I think some of your pics were the same as I used for inspiration too.

If you haven’t already checked out Spoonflower, you might want to give them a look. They have lots of great, cottage style fabrics and you can order custom too at no extra charge.

  28. That's fabulous! You not only have team projects DIY downpat, but you have small living space design going strong too. That little drawer cabinet beside the toilet is perfectly sized there. Love the floor, the demilune shaping of the vanity, and the bit of blue is really pretty. Awesome job, Kris & Terry!

  35. KRIS, CAN I TELL YOU HOW JEALOUS I AM OF YOUR SHOWER!!! My son had Bathfitters come in and do his shower area . I used it while visiting and it cleans like a dream. I'm a tile lover but after years of cleaning grout I am so over it. My girlfriend had Bathfitters do her shower too and she is thrilled with the decision.

  41. Love the new bathroom. So bright and cheery. I have floating vinyl floors in much of my house...except the bathrooms. I am considering adding it over the existing tile in my master bath. Wasn't sure it would be something to do, but now with yours I can see it can.

  45. If you don’t mind me asking could you share approximately how much Bathfitters charged?

    1. They are very expensive ours was nothing fancy and it was around $4,000 for everything. We decided since we only had the one bathroom to pay the money to get it done in one day and not have the bathroom torn up for a long time. A average bathroom re do is about $10,000 so we felt to do the tub and surround this was not too off the mark. Everything now is so expensive. Crazy what they charge for things like this. Hope that helps.
