Sneak peak Office Progress and She Shed

Hello and Happy Friday.
I hope to have the office pics up maybe this weekend.  We have the trim, moldings and doors all painted white and the walls painted gray.  Looks good for both my side of the office and Terry's side too.
I am working on getting up decor on the walls for my side of the office.

I found this sweet old chippy church window today at one of my fave places to shop called Warehouse 55.  I think it will look so cool over my desk.

Chippy white and awesome.

This is a white chippy chair I found and I cannot wait to show you what I am going to do with this chair for my office.
You can see a little of the new white trim and gray walls in the background.

This sweet Chicken Coop is now going to be mine.  Yep! I am going to make it into a Garden She Shed.
It has beautiful vintage windows and doors.
I have not gotten it yet so I do not have any new pictures of it except for this one from the person I bought it.  One side of this has all old windows.  I cannot wait to get this to be put in our backyard and have it to fix up this summer.

I can see some pretty flowers in the chicken feeder on the side of this and maybe a few hanging plants and my lounge chair out near this too.
I will be excited to get it and when the weather breaks fix it up cute for summer.
I am so excited to have a Garden She Shed made out of old chippy vintage doors, windows and architectural pieces.
Terry bought this as an early birthday gift to me.  Some girls like diamonds and jewels.  Give me an old chippy white she shed and I am a happy girl.

Have a great weekend everyone.  In the 60's here in Illinois this weekend.  Wooo Hooo!  Can't wait.

  2. This is SO awesome, all of it! Love the new gray in the office, and that window is amazing. But the she shed........that was always a dream of mine (and to ditch our hot tub, lol). That will be a project that will keep you busy all summer long. Fun!

Glad that's over, I can't believe the chicken coope you will have as a She Shed. I can imagine how beautiful you will make it. Your lounger, flowers oh my!! So excited for you.

If I was closer I'd be visiting for iced tea. How do you discover such a gem?

    Hugs,

  6. Kris, I would have taken one look at that chippy chair and thought: Well, I think it needs to go to the trash heap. But you, you see what I do not! How very clever you are. I can't wait to see the she shed. I used to tell my ex, I don't want presents like jewelry. Drive out to the countryside and find a rock for my garden on the side of the road. He never listened.

  7. Kris, it will be interesting to see how you work your magic on the chair and the window. Was your new she shed actually used as a chicken house? I guess I'm thinking of the condition of our chicken house. The chooks are cute but messy...if you get my drift. Enjoy your weekend...snowing here...ugh...
