Fusion Paint and Dining Room Table

This is how my dining room table top looked for a long time.  I wish I had a before up close pic but forgot to take one before I used the Fusion Paint.

The table legs were a distressed paint and stain look.  I wanted the top of the table to be a solid color that would blend well with the frame and legs.

I chose Fusion Mineral Paint to use on the top of the table.
The color is called Raw Silk.  It is ivory/ cream color.
Below is the company's definition of this paint.

FUSION™ MINERAL PAINT IS A PROFESSIONAL PAINT FOR THE EVERYDAY DIY’ER.

With exceptional ease of application, our formulation has high hiding coverage and a built-in top coat, it’s easy to Paint it Beautiful with Fusion™ With over 50 gorgeous colours to choose from, you can tackle any project small or large! What is the difference between Fusion paint and regular paint?

It goes on smooth and has a matte finish.

It is very durable and should hold up to food spills and water stains. I feel this gives the table a whole new look and looks cohesive to the frame and legs.

This is one of the treasures I found on our last trip to Michigan.
I actually got this piece at the Found Cottage.  I am still working on the space around it on the wall.  It is a very cool sign and was actually used at a Church flea market.

I have some upcoming changes with some new pieces I have.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Kris

It looks great with your floors and chairs.
Your floor looks a lot like mine in my new house.
we are still in the old house and I am sick of down sizing. My goal is to get out of here by the end of..... some time soon... as it is already the 21st, good grief

  10. What a cool sign you found! It's so unique and I love the fact that it was really used at a church. Those are the best treasures. The table looks great. I love Fusion paint. I use it all the time and it actually gets harder the longer it cures. I have it on a few tables and I know a girlfriend (in real life, so I've seen it) who used it on her cabinets and all the doors in her house, with a busy family , dogs and grands. It is durable! Can't wait to see the sign wall evolution! Happy Weekend!! xo
