I have planted daisies, lavender, yellow begonias, and periwinkle vinca in the flower beds. I am experimenting with what will survive the deer, bunnies and squirrels. So far so good. The knock out roses along the white fence have been slow to bloom. Knock out roses are easy peasy and require little maintenance. I have been dead heading hoping they will continue to bloom through out the summer and into the fall. Sometimes the first season of knock out roses are less blooming and in following years will begin to fill in and bloom more. |
