Mirror Wall

We got the old wallpaper down and the crown molding up.  I finally could start to hang my antique mirrors.

This was the old dining room / living room wallpaper and no crown molding.

It is all gone and my antique mirrors have begun to be hung.  Crown molding is up.

I just have this one space left open in hopes to find another mirror with character to add to my collection on the wall.

I am loving the dining room wall with my antique mirrors.  We are headed to another outdoor market this weekend.  I hope I can find a new mirror or two to fill in the open space.

I sound like a broken record but I wish I had a good camera to really capture how beautiful the mirrors and the room really looks.  The sunshine comes in and the mirrors reflect the light so nicely.

Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Kris

  5. Wow, Absolutely beautiful and adorable at the same time!!!!!
I have gramma's old mirror from Holland, but it is not that pretty. Just made from old wood, just kind of stuff "poor people in Holland" had. I will take a picture. I think it is still at the old house.
I hope both of you have a huge fun week-end

  11. I have ALWAYS wanted a mirror wall -- even began buying up mirrors for a house we hadn't even bought yet! Alas, the house we did buy just wasn't the right space for one. But I still have those mirrors and by gosh one day I, too, will be putting up that wall! Yours is gorgeous! (Saw a woman with a fabulous gold framed mirror in her cart at Goodwill for $14.99! Yes I stalked her until I could see the price tag.) Hope you found some goodies at your latest outing. xo Kathleen
