A little more Cottage Christmas Decor

I am the person that gets all my Christmas decor done before Thanksgiving.  I know a lot of you wait until after Thanksgiving.  With the two holidays so close together I like to get my Christmas up early to enjoy it longer.

I hung paper snowflakes in front of my dining room table.

I have my Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus on top of an old chippy base I got at the Found Cottage Christmas open house.

The Stockings are hung by the chimney with care.

This is one of the two Christmas trees I put up this year.

It is adorned with my beautiful angel.  That was gifted to me by a very special person and I cherish it.

The candles on the tree branches light up with a remote I found on Amazon.  A few of them flicker.  They look pretty on with our without the other tree lights shining.

It is so pretty at night.

My other tree is in the back of my kitchen by my faux fireplace.
With my birdhouse theme I put little white birds in the tree.

Thanks for stopping by to see my two trees for this year.
Just love that sparkle at night.  This time of year goes so quickly so I like to get as much enjoyment as I can out of everything.

Have a great week as we slide on down to Thanksgiving.
Hugs,
Kris

  6. I love it all Kris. Your holiday house always has an ethereal feel, so perfect for Christmas. You're way ahead of me. We hosted a Friendsgiving last night and had guests stay over. This morning when they left, and after the clean up, we took the bins out of storage. I haven't opened them up yet, but it's begun!! Enjoy your lovely decor! xo

  9. I love both of your trees Kris. The bird tree is so cute and looks pretty with the lighted packages. The green tree with the lighted candles looks so old fashioned and pretty. I also love the gorgeous angels.
I will be decorating and setting up my tree this weekend since I'm hosting Thanksgiving. I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving.

  11. It's a Winter Wonderland Kris!! So pretty, and I bet the night time glow is wonderful. The tree with the bows and candles is very vintage. I love it! My tree is usually just a mix of ornaments I've collected over the years.. so many colors! Each one is very sentimental. I usually buy a new one now, each year. I still have ornaments that were my boys' that they made or I made for them! Those are fun to get out and look at and place on the tree! Your bird tree is devine! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving to you and your family! Hugs.. Marilyn @ Pink Paper Cottage

  13. Kris, I so love your white and cream color scheme. It's so clean, it would still be calming after the holidays. Those paper snowflakes are so pretty. The special angel is beautiful. The silver tree reminds me of several we had growing up, one in 3 different picture windows, each with a color wheel. The main tree, though, was green and not artificial.
    Happy Thanksgiving, friend.

  14. Oh Kris, your home is so soothing and calming. I love each and every thing, but wish I could walk around and see it in person. However, this is the next best thing! I of course, love all the angels and the birds. Those candle lights are adorable! I actually did put up most of my decorations with your inspiration. I do have two trees to go, but will do those soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. I can just imagine it at night with all that soft glow. Happy Thanksgiving! 😘

  15. Everything looks so lovely! I had the boys bring up my boxes of Christmas stuff from the basement. I put up the tabletop tree and a few decorations, but that's it so far. This is the earliest I've ever brought out Christmas decorations. Brian asked me why I decided to do so before Dec 1st this time and I told him because Thanksgiving is so late this year. I wanted a month to enjoy the Christmas decor since it's so much work putting it all up! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. xoxo
