This is where the wallpaper was to begin and end! It is a light beige/gray background with soft cream roses. I loved the subtleness of this wallpaper that brought some interest to the wall.

Next thing I know it started to multiply around all the walls in the living room and dining room!!!

I have my vintage birdhouse with bunnies and flowers hanging on this old board for now. I would love to find something special to hang off this board.

I got some faux flower mixes and hung them above my old garden bench. The faux flowers look and feel so real.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Week!!
First your little fella has grown up so much!!! He is so cute. I am glad you had a good trip to Michigan.

ReplyDeleteI like your wallpaper; it adds such a nice, soft touch. Good to hear you enjoyed your Easter at the firehouse themed Airbnb. Your little grandson is darling!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Kris! I cannot believe how much Edmund has grown! I'm so happy you all could have that time together. Should we change the lyrics to "Mama, don't let your babies grow up to be firemen?" Just kidding!
ReplyDeleteWe're all over here counting down 400 unpaid clinical hours until graduation......
Oh my goodness, I think this is my most favorite post ever! Wow..everything looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThat wallpaper is just so YOU, Kris. Very subtle and pretty and it adds so much interest to your home. It's amazing how 'real' faux flowers look now compared to even 10 years ago.
ReplyDeleteLook how cute Edmund is in his little fireman costume. The perfect place to wear it. I am so glad you are able to capture these moments with your kids and grandkids. The years go by so fast and the grands get interests of their own and our lives change as theirs do.
I hope you have some green where you are. Nothing is up here yet and we still have some residual snowbanks around our property...sigh....I am SO anxious for a nice warm spring day. According to the news our temps have been way below normal this last month or so.
Have a wonderful upcoming weekend. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteI love the wallpaper. You are correct, everything has a story, everything you see has been here being part of a life, and should continue so. We can only try to imagine positive history, and special stories. Who held on to those rails? Your house looks beautiful! Your grandboy is so cute.
