This is a fun shop with many great vendors. I took a ride the other day to see what cute things they might have for the 4th.

I think it is a perfect addition to my office. It's fun when you find treasures like this that you connect with and fit your decor perfectly.
Have a great rest of your week.

The name of the two locations is called Rustic Fox for any of you that live in Illinois.
One is in North Aurora and the other is in Carol Stream.

ReplyDeleteOf course I guess the nurse sign. So perfect for you Kris. The shop has some darling displays. Lovely little vignettes. That armoire is gorgeous. Happy week. Hugs
ReplyDeleteKris, how nice. cute clothes, cute jars, adorable everything.
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I are both olden RNs. She would have loved this sign as much as you and me. Super great to have this!
I started out in a Washington DC hospital upon graduation. They put me immediately in charge of a floor of long term patients, every thing from dementia patients, cancer, ventilators, lots of dementia patients. I lasted 9 months there. I worked evening shift and I always "left too late" I had to finish my notes of so many patients, I had about 8 nurse aides and they were never helping. I worked at a brand new hospital closer to my home for about three years, enough of that, and went to an office of orthopaedic surgeons and stayed there for about 8 years. Then I quit working. Enough of that!
The last job was very demanding.
The sign looks perfect in your office. I like your iMac too. I think hubbs gave our iMac to my nephew, during the various moving adventures (mom and dad's stuff moves x2, and ours to this new little house)
Enjoy your summer. I am going to a fun gathering this afternoon at the community center, we are gonna make sun catchers. haha.
I also tried a few classes of tai-chi, it is okay. I love having a screened in porch now!!
Happy Summer, Kris!
What a super find! It fits your office and your style perfectly, too. How did they know you were coming in? Haha!! I hope the weather is behaving and you're having a fabulous pool week my friend! xo
ReplyDeleteLove that sign for sure, Kris! It's more than perfect! I've been to Rustic fox and gotten a few treasures there myself lol. xo Kathleen

Uh Oh... I was SURE you brought home the armoire!!! how could you resist???? Or did you??? ssshhhh I won't tell..........:-0 I knew it would be the Nurse sign that went home with you! And I think of all the displays, I LOVE the yellow one best! That dress is adorable and all the yellow things. Makes me want to have all yellow on my front porch! I love yellow and teal together...... Each vendor did a great job on decorating for this upcoming 250th anniversary holiday! How fun it was to go... you MUST have brought home some red, white and blue! Hugs.. Marilyn
ReplyDeleteThat looks to be an amazing shop Kris and that sign was definitely there waiting for you. Gilly (UK)
ReplyDeleteI knew it! I love the sign, and it is darling hanging in your office. The vendors did an excellent job with their displays. I enjoyed seeing them!
ReplyDeleteKris, of COURSE that sign came home with you, perfect! Love the looks of the shop and the vendors' vignettes. We just recently styled my sister's private collection of vintage and antique medical items. It was emotional! I'll send you a link to our page on FB so you can see them. She had some really cool things.
ReplyDeleteThe nurse sign is perfect for you, Kris and a great find. The shop is really a nice one and everything is displayed neatly and so well done! You always find great places to shop! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWell, if there was ever a perfect chippy sign for you- THAT is it!!! What a great fun find! That shop is wonderful! The yellow really popped out at me and made me smile at the brightness of it all. I have never really had much yellow but the last couple of years I have introduced it in the garden and I really like the way it pops.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a really wonderful weekend. I suppose everyone is getting together for Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to Terry from. me. Hugs and love to you- Diana
Love the sign! Don't the days fly by the older we get?
