| I think we may have a future firefighter to follow in his Grandpa aka Bop's footsteps. |
I started this blog to share my cottage home and how I re love junk chic items into my home decor.

I am a retired RN. I love all things white, chippy, vintage and cottage chic. I am married to my best friend and handyman who helps me make our cottage chic. You can read more on my About Me page.
This is a beautiful tribute. I love all the pictures. The song is so beautiful! You and Terry are an inspiration. December can't come fast enough. The one with him on Back Draft is great. A new chapter will begin. John's retiring in December too. He has worked so hard for over 40 years . Congratulations again to Terry!!!

Wow, what an accomplishment of 50 years of service and a beautiful tribute to Terry. I enjoyed looking at all of those photos. Congrats on Terry and wishing him a wonderful retirement.
ReplyDeleteAwww Kris, what a lovely tribute to your wonderful firefighter! How great that he never worked a day in his life in all those 50 years. I listened to your song on Facebook and it was amazing. You truly are a special couple and I wish the best for both of you. ❤️
ReplyDeleteP. S. Your little grandson is adorable and might just follow in Bop’s footsteps.
I really loved this, Kris. So special, so from the heart. May God Bless you & Terry with many good years to live out a much-deserved retirement.
ReplyDeleteKris, your tribute is fantastic! I love the song, too. I listened to it from your post on Facebook. The lyrics made me tear up. I love how you were able to put the kids' names into it and tell the story of his service. Congratulations to Terry...50 years, wow!! xo
ReplyDeleteThat was a beautiful piece of music-wonderful words and sentiment. Knowing you and Terry. a well as I do, I bawled listening to it. For those that don't know Terry, he is one of the most humble people I have ever known; kindhearted and sweet. He was the one that made arrangements for me to surprise Kris at one of her girlfriend parties many years ago. He's a keeper.
ReplyDeletePrayers for enjoying many wonderful years of retirement with travel and projects (which I know there will never be a lack of projects with Kris at the helm)...lol...
Thank you, Terry, for your many years of service to the communities you lived in and worked for. They were lucky to have you! xo Diana

ReplyDeleteForgot to say I love all of the photos!
