| This is the wall now. I took away the bench and I will show you where that landed and then added a garden apron and hat. Just a few little changes from around the house. |

Kris, such pretty changes. I think shopping your own house is a lovely idea. Stay cool and enjoy the pool. Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI do the same. :-) I just did it this week. Changing things up.
Enjoy the pool time. Do the grand-girls come for a swim too?
It looks so restful. It’s crazy how warm it’s been up north. Stay cool!

Yep, always shop the house first. We can find pieces we haven't use and get a whole new look for free! Hot, hot here too. Back to living on the sun.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful changes Kris! Such a good idea to use what you already have - in a different way and a different place. It's been so very hot here for the last month or so - but it is a little cooler today, thank goodness. Gilly (UK)
ReplyDeleteYes! Shopping my house is one of my favorite pastimes. When the mood to change things up I don’t have to leave the house….especially in this heat! Your swaps look lovely, as always, Kris! Enjoy the pool! I was in mine last night. Soooo hot!!! 🥰
ReplyDeleteWhere did you love the fireplace
ReplyDeleteMove the fireplace..auto correct
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful changes and enhancements, Kris. You always do such an amazing job and didn’t have to leave your house. I was in my fitness club pool this morning doing water aerobics. Enjoy your pool time! xo
ReplyDeleteI used to like to change things up with new curtains.. I have a few panels stashed in my tub under my bed. I did just put some pink printed curtains in my bedroom, and removed the white ones. Made a big difference! Also like to move pictures around. I currently have a teacup rack on my bedroom wall, and want to move it to somewhere else so I can put a quilt ladder there! Always something to move around! Love your decor as always! xoxo Marilyn
ReplyDeleteKris, I love seeing how you decorate. I have a bunch of fake flowers and change them around lots. I don't do much decorating any more. I keep trying to minimize. Less to dust. Pray you and your family are doing well. xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteKris, your garden cottage decor is always such a delight. I love how you “shop your house” and create a whole new look with pieces you already have — it’s so inspiring. I love to do that too. Everything feels fresh, charming, and perfectly cottage‑cozy. You have such a gift for styling spaces with warmth and creativity. Always enjoy seeing what you come up with next.
