Labor Day and The Found Cottage Mercantile Market

Every Labor Day Weekend for many years we have headed out to Michigan for the Found Cottage Mercantile Market.
We rent a cute cottage stay and then do the market.
It is Friday afternoon evening and Saturday.
This year we splurged and got VIP tickets.  Vip tickets get you into the market at 2pm.   It's not open to the general public until 5pm which gives you less crowded shopping.
We get in at 2pm and have until 5pm to shop peacefully and without crowds.
Also get first dibs at some cool things!!!

The next pictures are of some of the vendors.  What I love even more than seeing what treasures are for sale,  it is the way the vendors set up their booths.
Some of them are so creative and it is fun to just look at how they decorated their booths.

Ha Ha I had to show this cute witch I found on Pinterest.
I am hoping after this holiday weekend to start to think about my fall decor going up.  I usually get inspired at this market.

I am excited to head to the Found Cottage Mercantile Market tomorrow.  If you live near Holland Michigan you should check out this market.  You can click on the link above to find out more information.

I hope to find some fall treasures.  There is usually some cool architectural pieces.

Happy Labor Day Weekend Everyone.
Hugs
Kris

  2. I LOVE that you get to do this every year, Kris. It is good for the soul. I know you will find something special there and, you are right, that sort of thing inspires a person to start decorating for the season.
Wondering how close you are to Kimmie there and if you will see her and the little boyo?
Happy Labor Day Weekend- Love ya- Diana

  8. Sounds like a big rip off, spend money on tickets just to walk in early then pay inflated prices for merchandise...no wonder the consumer debt is at an all time high.

    1. You know what is worse in the country. People that make passionate statements about what they believe and hide behind anonymous. I normally delete you when you visit my small friendly expression blog to express your sadness and anger in your own life. If this comment on my blog makes you feel like you got out some anger and sadness in yourself then I will let it stand. I really in my heart wish you find happiness and love in your life.
