Peel and Stick Cottage Wallpaper Ghost Hot Dogs and Prayers

From my last post you saw how I took this sectional cover from dark brown/taupe to yellow/gold

It is now a light yellow and gold color.

I wanted to add a little more color and pattern to the room.  I found this peel and stick wallpaper on Amazon.  On line it looked very sunshine yellow but when I got it the color was perfect to match my new yellow/gold slipcover colors.  Score!!!

Peel and Stick is a great no commitment easy to hang and remove choice.
This went up easily and covered nicely.  No bubbles or paste or dripping water to deal with.  Just peel and stick.

I am on the hunt to replace my white drapes with maybe a buffalo check pattern drapes.  Just have to find a check more in line with the color of the fabric on the sectional.

I spent the weekend with my three grand kiddos.  Abby, Charlotte and Edmund.
For lunch we made hot dog ghosts.
Abby and Edmund helped with putting their eyes and mouths lol!
You take roll out pillsbury dough and cut the long piece into two squares.
Then you cut hot dogs in half and line them up on the baking sheet.  Put the dough squares over the top of the hot dog to drape down to make the ghost.
The kids took a pointed tip and poked the eyes and mouths.

We then had ketchup that Charlotte said is the blood to dip the ghosts in!!!!  We had to explain to Edmund that it was not real blood but ketchup to look like halloween blood!  He was not going to be dipping his hotdog into blood lol!

Sorry,  I did not take the how to pics but these are easy and I think you could all figure it out.

That one ghost in the corner looks like he is running away so he would not get eaten!!!

We had our hot dog ghosts along with tater tots.
These were scary and delicious.

One more ask:
I found out recently that I have a tumor growing in my thoracic spine area and it is impinging on my spinal cord nerve and affecting my gait and balance.  It needs to be removed surgically.

I will be seeing one of the best spine neurosurgeons in Chicago on Thursday this week.
He will be able to tell me more of when the surgery will take place and all that is involved.
They believe the tumor is benign which is good news.
Surgery on the spine is scary with how careful and precise they have to be.
It makes me feel good I will have the best performing my surgery.

The sad part is we have our family vacation at Disney over Halloween.  The grand kids are looking forward to it very much.  I will know more on Thursday after seeing the neurosurgeon if that trip will be happening for me.

Prayers and good thoughts as my journey in life takes a bit of a turn.
The power of prayer is such a blessing to have.

Hugs
Happy New Week.
Make some yummy ghost hot dogs.  I have to stay they were pretty good with the Pillsbury dough instead of a bun.
