While my mom was in from Florida to spend Easter with us we were able to get out and go to Morris.  This town is a great town with cute shops and a great little tea room for lunch. If you live in the Chicago area and have not been to Morris you should really go.  You will love it.  It is old and small and very quaint and my favorite shop Vintage is there!!   I finally remembered to take my camera and get some pictures.  I am usually so distracted with wanting to shop to remember to take pictures.

First Stop on the shopping  trip is Ruby Begonia's. Love this shop. Lot's of vintage goodies and cute vintage clothes.
Don't you love her red front door.

Look at the chippy old office door so much chippy goodness in this shop.

Loved all her Easter vignettes throughout the store.

So much vintage cuteness.

My mom and my friend Sandy as we are getting ready to go into Traci's shop Whimsy.

Lot's of great treasures in this shop.

Next was The Feathered Nest. Very cute shop.

This little beauty was calling to me with it's shabby cute slipcover and how comfy it was to sit in.  I am thinking about going back to get this one.

One of the Lovely shop owners of The Feathered Nest and the wonderful seamstress that sewed that beautiful slipcover for the chair that I think I may need!!!!!https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Feathered-Nest/

Ahhhhh My fav shop.  Oh la la some great things always in side this shop.

It is hard to see her cute windows with my pictures but trust me they were so adorable all Lacey and chippy and vintage.

Old vintage bike in the window.  You know how I love vintage bikes.

More of the vintage doilie tops. I had to get one.

Some really fun ruffled aprons.

The cottage room one of my favorite. Always find chippy whites in here.

Then finally to the Letty Mae's tea room for our yummy lunch.

Our cute little waitress so sweet and fun.  Well just thought I would share a fun day I had with my mom while she was in for Easter and my friend Sandy that was on her Spring break this week.  Hope you all had a great Easter.  The day we went to Morris the sun was shining and it was 54 degrees we loved it.  My poor mom was dreading our weather when she came up from Florida but she even said it was a great weather day to walk around this cute town.

Hope you all had a great Easter yesterday. Ours was really fun and I am exhausted but it is a good exhausted!!!! Everyone goes home today so I will have my quiet cottage back!!!!!
Happy Easter

Just a small post in between getting ready for Easter and entertaining my family while they are all in for the holiday.  I wanted to show you something that I found while out shopping with my daughters and my mom.

Look how sweet these little flower glass cleaner sponges with little holders are.  I found these at Home Goods and thought they would make great little favors for my garden table decor for Easter.  I just tied them off in little cello bags and ribbon.  Easy Peasy and cute.

I had to get one for myself they were too cute. They have the little tube you fill with soap or water and the brush is the flower and then the little picket fence that holds a sponge.  I think my daughters, sister in law, niece and my mom and mother in law will love these little cuties.

I love daisy's one of my favorite flowers for Spring.  I am doing a garden scene on my tablescape for Easter so I thought daisies and nests and birds would be cute.

Little bunny going for a ride in the bike.

I changed out my little vintage lunch box with some daisies.
I saw this little trick on pinterest.  You put carrots in the vase and then your daisies on top. I thought it gave a cute look for one of the vases that will be on my tablescape.

Little bunnies playing on the plate.
Well my friends have a wonderful week end and great day on Sunday for Easter.
Today here in Chicago it is in the 50's and sunny and mild. Loving it.  Taking my mom shopping and to lunch. The rest of my family arrives this afternoon.  Wooo Hooo the fun begins.
Happy Easter

Thank you everyone that joined in for my first giveaway.  I wanted it to be special since it was my first one and I wanted it to be something I made myself. I am not the craftiest person but I think these are very useful to have in the car.   Happy Junking with your new car totes.  Hope all your Road Adventures in your car will be fun and now my friends you are totally prepared for anything your travels bring.

Hello my dear blog friends.   I had another trip to the fun shop of
Tattered Tiques today.  It was nice to see the girls and shop.  I have been looking at this cute Honey for Sale sign in the shop for awhile and today just took the plunge and bought it.  I was hoping it would fit in my dining room over my old windows and it pretty much did.  As I was looking for a new home for my chippy sign I noticed I do have a lot of signs around my house. I guess I am a sign hoarder!!!!! Thought I would share some.

Made this little sign for the Lamb Cake for Easter

Even the Easter Bunny has a sign of his own.

Cupcake Stand waiting for the Easter Cupcakes.

As some of you have seen this sign before I love this over the window in my office. Great motto to live by!!!!

Of course my lovely assistant Midge is pointing to my favorite Sign!!!!!

Love this chalk board saying.

Some of you may have seen my other lovely item from a Tattered Tiques shopping day the Easter Banner. Love this banner.

Another sign I love it the one above the chalk board. Live Simply! So true.
Well hope you made it through this long post of pictures I think I better go and have a sign intervention!!!!
Tomorrow I will be drawing the names for the give away. I am excited for all of you.
