Shopping Anyone?!!!

Hi Everyone.

Things are moving along on the new house.  Floor guys are gone and I hope to take some pics this weekend when I return up there.

For now I thought I would take you on a little shopping trip with me.  They opened a new Kirkland Store near me and of course I needed to check it out!

Let me first say Kirkland's has not given any compensation for showing my shopping trip in their store.
All the pictures and opinions are my own.  Just was fun to shop in there and I thought I would bring you along.

I have not been in a Kirkland Store for a very long time.  This one was fabulous.

Here we go.

When I first walked in I was greeted with Fall Decor.  Ugh!!! Summer Girl is not ready for Fall just yet! If you are you will like these next few pictures.

I have to say I am liking the neutral fall decor.

Now if you want peeps to really feel welcome at your front door this is the sign for you!!!!

They have all kinds of fall wreaths but I loved the whimsy of this witch wreath.

Ok is this not the coolest!!  Bless Our Home sign with cotton bolls attached and then it is all under glass.  Just so cute.

I love that they are carrying a lot of the popular quote and saying signs.

Ahhhhhh door love.  Loved this barn door I am thinking about it for my laundry room downstairs in the new house.

Speaking of Laundry.  They have lots of cool laundry room decor.

Another cool door and chippy white bench.

For all you farmhouse decor fans they have lots of that.

Love love this sliding wood door bench.  Super cute.

Sweet Entry Way Hanger.

Lots of cool clocks

Beautiful wall decor galore.

This is why I came in to Kirklands.  I am looking for a cool mirror for the new bathroom downstairs in the new place.  They have a lot of mirrors.

This is another sweet thing that Kirkland's is selling.  They are featuring local and regional artists pieces in their stores.  These are great for you or to give as gifts.

I love the local artist that does all the angel paintings.  They are all so beautiful.  Wouldn't that angel holding the new baby be so cute for over a crib in a nursery.

They have pretty furniture pieces too.  This gray and white striped chair is pretty fabulous.

Another of the local artist paintings.

Cute signs with great sayings.

Really cute night lights.   Love the glamper night lights.

If you are needing some cute home decor Kirkland's has a nice variety.  It was fun to just walk around in this store and see all the pretties.

For those of you that do not have a Kirklands store near you here is the website.

Have a great weekend.

Kris

  2. Kris, I love Kirkland's, especially for mirrors and architectural pieces. Love seeing all the displays and I might have to head there soon! Also, did you know there is an phone app called Kirkland's Spin to Win. You can press the Spin Button and get discounts from 10% and more. Gotta love that!

  3. I recently visited a Kirklands near me and was impressed with the mild calm fall decor! It didn't want to "slap me in the face" and scream FALL! and I like the more discreet look of a season. Nice post Kris!

  4. Hi Kris! This is good news that the floor guys are gone! I can't wait for you to get into your home. Is the garage almost done? Great stuff here, especially that cotton clad wreath under glass!

  6. Did someone say "shopping?" *waves arms like a maniac* Take me! Take me!!!
I haven't been to a Kirklands in forever, but I must say that I'm impressed with their merchandise in this post! Lovely! The cotton bolls are my favorite (of course, being from Alabama they would be)...

    Have a great weekend!

  8. We don't have Kirklands in my neck of the woods...and boo...because I could see myself getting into a lot of (fun) trouble there!! Off to Google and see where the nearest one is, or if I can score some of those pretties online. Thanks for the tour!!

  10. Adorable. I see a lot of that is blogger inspired. Inspired by Joanna Gaines as well. I'll have to check out my local Kirklands. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see the flooring.

  12. We have a Kirklands store here, too. When I want a quick piece for something and don't want to spend a fortune I go there. It is always fun to see what they have and I have picked up great little lamps there for a song!
They should send you a big gift certificate for the nice promotion for them, Kris. xo Diana

  13. Oh yes, I'm very familiar with that store! There is one near me and it's hard to leave there empty handed. I love that store. Thanks for the fun tour. I haven't been there since they got their Fall decor in.

  14. I haven't been to the one near us in awhile. See a trip in order. That one sign reminds me of one of my girls' favorite tv shows when they were a kid.

  19. Hi Kris, I am so ready for fall, and winter can't come soon enough.
As for your Kirkland home it's a million times better then ours. I love Looking at their holiday items for trending ideas, they really get some uniquely cleaver pieces, but a barn door, I've never seen such items as these at ours.
Thank you for the share. I hope to see the door on your bathroom, how cute will that be.

  20. Well, it's good to see you out shopping. If that is similar to me and my projects, that must mean you're getting near the finish line!
We used to have Kirkland's and when they closed I thought it was nationwide - silly me.

  21. No kirklands here, but I wonder if there are any in NC? I'll have to make it a priority to check that out!

  22. Lots of great eye candy, Kris. We don't have Kirkland stores here in Quebec. The only Kirkland here is at Costco!!!!! Have a great day.

  23. Great photos of fun items - much like Hobby Lobby too!

  24. It would take a while to look at all the pretties. There are several things that would look great in your cottage. I haven't been in Kirkland for a while, although there are two fairly close to home. There is a house just down the street with the giant "welcome" sign. Must be where she bought it. I keep meaning to ask you how your mom is settling in. Hope everything is okay with her. xoxo

  26. Did you know the verse on the sign in the third last picture is a verse from the children's song Skinnamarink by Canadian trio, Sharon Lois & Bram? They had a hugely popular children's show in Canada that ran in the 80's & 90's, when my kids were growing up. I'm with you Kris, about not being ready to embrace Fall just yet. It's everywhere already. I love Kirklands and wish we had them here in Canada. Have a great weekend!

  27. I do have a Kirklands nearby, but haven't been in there in months. Might have to plan a trip over there! Thankfully I don't see any Xmas stuff in your photos. Not ready for that for sure!

  29. I haven't been to my Kirklands in so long! I have one 5 min. from me and after reading this, I MUST go this week!!! I had no idea they stocked things from local artists too. Love that!

  30. This is the first time I heard of Kirklands, so I assumed that there were none in my area. Surprise surprise! There is one 20 minutes away! Guess where I'll be going one day next week! Thanks for the introduction, Kris! :)

  31. Thanks for the shopping tour! We don't have a Kirkland's up here but down by my mom they have one. I don't get much chance to visit it though. I saw a few items I might need! I d on't do fall until at least mid September but since the stores insist on putting everything out so early I will buy something early for the upcoming season. I wonder if all the Kirkland's stock paintings from local artists. What a great idea!

  32. Ahh, you made me want to go to Kirklands! Loved shopping with you. I'm not done with Summer yet either!

  33. We have had a Kirklands in the next town for years and I just went there about a month ago. I've been wanting a larger clock for our kitchen so I appreciate you doing the shopping for me. Now I'll go there tomorrow and hopefully find a fun clock.

  34. I love Kirklands but there is not one close to us...But we have a Hobby Lobby and I love that store. Between Hobby Lobby and Lowes I could go broke very easy! I love fall and the colors that go with it. But a lot of the stores have fall, Halloween and even Christmas stuff out....crazy.

  35. Love the wall decor, the mirrors and that rose painting. I have never heard of Kirklands. Probably not in Oregon.
