New Dining Room and Valances

Hello Everyone.  With taking down Christmas Decor everything seemed so stark. I made this old vintage tile vase into door decor. Added some faux flowers and nest and ribbon.  Much more cheerful than a plan door.

When we went to Michigan I found an old black  drop leaf table with the cutest legs and wheels.

I am not a fan of drop leaf but loved the legs and wheels.

Searching out a new rug for the living room to bring in a little more blue to this room.

Terry found some wood to make new sides to the table and framed it out with the legs.

Then we found some old white planks for the table top.  He router the edges and whoo hoo new table.

Rectangle fits so much better in this small sq. space than the round table.

The round table jetted out into the room too much.

Shana from Asmus Home Interiors that made my pretty drapery panels just finished these valances for my windows.

I did not want to see the pole so she accommodated me once again and made these pretty valances.

You know how I like to give a shout out to women in business.  We girls have to help each other out.

Here is Shana's Etsy Site Asmus Home Interiors once again if any of you need drapes or pillows etc.

You can send her your fabric or you can pick from the wonderful variety of fabrics she offers.

She is quick and her sewing superb.

One more sweet little piece I have in my bay window area. I spruced up my angel and bird bath in there with some blue and white flowers.

I just love to surround myself with angels and flowers.  No better combination.

That sweet angel was gifted to me from a very good friend.

The friend that gifted this to me just finished up her breast cancer journey and is cancer free.  Prayers were answered.

Have a great Weekend. I will have a living room reveal in my next post with a giveaway. See you soon. Girlfriend Party this Saturday. WooHoo!

  22. This room is so pretty! The table is perfect for the space, and I love those light blue curtains. I bought an inexpensive blue rug on Amazon that would go great in there. So far I'm pleased with it except it sheds a lot when it's vacuumed. Hoping that will stop soon.
