New in the Garden

Hello Everyone.
I have a few new things added to the garden to show you today.  I love to enhance my flowers with old chippy vintage pieces throughout the garden.  Brings whimsy and character to the garden.

This is my newest old chippy awesome birdhouse I have added to the garden.  It is made out of old salvage pieces.  The green almost is the same color as my house.  I also added this sweet angel to the post.

Hoping as summer continues my climbing roses will keep growing up around the angel and to the birdhouse.

Speaking of climbers I am very excited to see my archway climbing roses reaching for the sky.

The roses this summer have been really beautiful.  They are beginning to mingle in between the fence like I had hoped.

This is where I have been spending a lot of my time this summer.  Soaking up sunshine and reading.  I love the half door Terry made.  I can sit in there and still have summer breezes to keep it cool.

Have a great day today.  Thanks for coming by.

  2. Love your new birdhouse! And your roses are stunning. Isn't sitting outside in a beautiful area you've carved out just wonderful? We get so little of warm weather here that it's nice to take advantage of every moment we can outside. Though now we complain it's too darn hot. lol

  3. Beautiful, everything is looking so good Kris.
The roses are lovely. Do they have a scent? I know some roses do not really smell, I have a pink rose that does not have a scent. LOL

  6. That birdhouse is a beautiful piece! That's such a pretty green, as is your house. And I can't believe how your roses have taken off out front. You have a magic touch with roses as well as petunias.

Your lounge chair does look like the perfect place to relax or read, especially with the dappled shade.

  8. Oh Kris, so sublime, everything! The climber rose, the picket fence, the she-shed...you have brought this place to a special level of sweetness and I know it wasn't easy. However, how is it ever easy to achieve such beauty? Never. It takes so much hard work and you and your husband and not short on vision or hard work ethics. Bravo to both of you for creating an oasis!

  19. It's all wonderful as usual. I'm amazed at how fast all of your flowers are growing! They must love your climate and maybe you have high humidity there? Our climate is very dry, and things don't get very "lush" it seems. I love the climbing roses and that is my goal for my back yard.. an archway and climbing roses and some honeysuckle. And of course, your SHE SHED is absolutely inviting and wonderful! Have a good weekend! Marilyn
