Fall Decor

Hello Sweet Friends.  Happy September.
I am a summer girl but I am actually looking forward to Fall temperatures arriving.

In no particular order I am sharing with you my past fall decor.
Hopefully soon I will be starting some fall decor here.  It still feels too much like summer and my flowers are still in full bloom to move to fall just yet.

I loved seeing this picture of our sweet Cooper that we rescued and then lost to cancer.  RIP sweet little man.  We miss you.

This is the sweet angel gifted to me from my friend Cil.  I will always cherish her and cannot wait to get her out in my decor for this year.

The detail Cil puts into her sweet dolls give them such sweet personalities.

These are a few of my other fall angels along with my witch from Cil.
Cil also gifted me the angel on the left.  Her sewing talents are amazing.

This sweet witchy mouse was gifted to me from my sweet friend Judy.  She had two and knew how much I loved hers so she sent me one.  Blogging friends are so generous and have big hearts.

This is my sweet harvest angel that hangs on my front door each fall.  I will be getting her out soon.

This is the newest Harvest Angel I bought yesterday and she is on her way to me.  Have you ever visited Old Farmhouse Primitives.  If you love primitives you will love this site.

I have always loved her hanging angels.  She sells out fast each year and I am happy I was able to grab this one.  Happy September.

I know you'll have fun decorating the inside and outside of your house. The weather is still warm here and I'm enjoying it while I can. Have a nice week Kris. :)

  6. Hi Kris, I'm loving all your wonderful lighter hued Fall florals and inspiration. I just saw my white sunflowers in one of many tubs yesterday, so now I'm going to pull them out and put them together for early Fall. Have a great rest of the week!

  8. Good morning dearest friend! There are so many great memories here that you are sharing; I have a few favorites but that Witch Mouse is SOOOO CUTE! OOOOH I love love this time of year though it's always sad to say goodbye to summer. All of our flowers thrown out and the cottage looks ready for all the leaves to fall and just allow the woody branches to show...a perfect fall décor!

  9. Your past fall is beautiful! I too am still enjoying summer and can't quite transition to fall decor just yet. I'd love to get more info on the witch angel from your friend Cil, Does she sell them? I'd love to have one or even a mini version of one. Let me know if she has an Etsy site or sells them.

  10. Happy September! We actually have cooler weather and rain! I can't tell you how excited I am. Next week, it's even supposed to dip down to the upper 50's at night! I love Fall! I have to admit I'm glad this is previous years decor; I was thinking when I saw the title it was all too soon for me to even think about it. But you actually got me excited to think about pulling out my decor! (Did I mention, I love Fall? Lol). Especially with our new room - I will enjoy decorating this year! Have an awesome weekend!
    Hugs, Cecilia

  14. I really enjoyed your past Fall vignettes and the way you arranged everything! so fun to look back and remember where you were living at that time. You gave me some good ideas for our little front porch area... love the box with legs that says Harvest Welcome. I would love to attempt to paint a sign like that.. and love the next picture, the little chippy chair with the basket, beehive and bee primitive! And of course, love all of your white pumpkins everywhere! My other fave was the arrangement of the white pumpkins and dried flowers and coneflowers(?).. white ones with the dark centers and the sweet sign Harvest Blessings. I guess I have a "thing" for signs! I'm not quite ready for Fall yet as September here in central Oregon is going to be super HOT! I do see a few trees here and there with leaves that are changing colors.. that is what usually gets me in the mood for Fall.. all of the colors of leaves. Have a good rest of the week Kris! 16. Ahh a nice walk through the years! I broke down and started with a bit of fall decorating. It’s beginning to feel like fall up here, especially today with the cooler temps and wind! I used to make primitive Amish soft sculpture figures and had fun with it for a while! Your new primitive is great!

  17. Kris, I have seen a lot of your decorations. So this was fun to see how many pretty vignettes you have created thru the years. I love the cloth pumpkins, they never get smelly like real ones. LOL. I must say Terry little red fire truck all decorated up for fall is adorable, I love it. Blessings, enjoy this weather sweet girl. xoxo, Susie

  21. I enjoyed looking at all your autumn decorations. I am getting a little excited for autumn too. But my flowers are doing so well and look so nice. I end up having mixed feelings. Ha Ha!

  22. Kris, I wish I had your knack for creating beautiful seasonal vignettes. I'm with you being a summer girl. I just can't bring myself to start decorating for Fall, despite turning our furnace on already. We've had frost warnings and I've been clad in socks and sweaters. Have a wonderful labor day long weekend! xo

  24. Some lovely memories there Kris! Yes, it does seem to feel like summer still, here in the UK. Mind you the early morning temperatures are very low now, so I think that we are slowly on the way here. Hugs, Gilly x

  26. I love your house at Fall time--well, I love your house anytime really. While I know you do beautiful posts-I have been privileged to see your last home in person a couple of times. Pictures do not begin to do it justice. The true layering and essence of the rooms themselves don't come across in the camera like they do in real life. Love it all, Kris. xo Diana
