Home Is Where The Cookies Are

Happy Friday everyone.
Since Christmas is just around the corner and we are all cooped up at home because of the Virus I have been looking at decor and baking ideas for Christmas.

My sweet friend Jemma had on her FB page this link for the cutest and yummiest cookies ever for the holidays.  I thought I would share it with you.  Nice part is you can begin to bake these and freeze them.  I always give my neighbors a tray of cookies. Seeing all these really unique and cute cookie recipes made me smile.

Scroll through the pics and if any of these strike your fancy you can go to the link below.  Happy Baking.

All of these and more can be found at KitchenFunWithMyThreeSons.

I found these Mud Pie Cookie plates awhile back on clearance and purchased a few to put my home baked cookies on for neighbors and friends.

They were so cute with the napkins and cookie server.

Mud Pie put these on clearance for $10 a set.  They sold out but they have other cute serving cookie plates now in stock.  You can visit Mud Pie here https://www.mud-pie.com/.

  1. Mmm...they all look so good, Kris. We've been baking a lot around here lately. My daughters have decided to take this time to learn the basics and it turned into an all out passion. We've been eating treats from scratch for months. Needless to say they've been gathering recipes, too. I will show them your great ideas! Yesterday we were laughing because we ran across a kit for NinjaBread cookies!! Ha! SO cute...Enjoy the weekend! xo

  5. Good morning Kris!

Isn't Jemma a sweetheart with so much energy and ideas? How lovely are these cookies! Those little "teacups" with the pretzel handle, how cute are those!

Like always, baking and cooking for the holidays for me is such a sensory experience; the tastes of certain foods and the act of baking bring back my mother, my aunts and uncles, cousins and friends from childhood. I am so glad those memories never fade.

  11. These are all so darling! I love the gingerbread man holding the candy cane.. and the candy cane cookies. My mom used to make those.... cookies around Christmas always bring back such wonderful memories of my mom baking cookies for Christmas, starting in October! and she would freeze them all in pretty tins. I still have some of her tins. I don't bake as much anymore as I tend to eat way too many! I like to bake some and wrap them in pretty cello bags to give to neighbors and friends... but just don't do as much as I used to. I love all these cute ideas! xoxoxo Marilyn

  13. Kris, Cookies are not safe here. Even frozen they can still be eaten. I think I am Cookie Monster's mom. LOL. Wow, they all look just wonderful. The kiss cookies and the turtles would be a fine dessert with coffee. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
