French Fence Pieces

Remember these gates.  I was planning on using them in our bedroom for a headboard but instead I decided on something different.
I used one of the fence pieces behind my dresser in the dining room area.

I decided to use the other one with an old piano bench to make a rustic bench under my french window.  We attached the gate to the wall and pushed the piano bench up to it.  Fit perfectly.

They worked out better for decor pieces in my living room and dining room.

Hope to have the bedroom finished up soon to show you the changes in the Master Bedroom.

Have a great rest of the week.
Hugs,
Kris

  15. When I saw the title of your post my thought was a headboard reveal. LOL The way you repurposed them is lovely, I especially like the bench. Now I'm scratching my head at what amazing idea you have up your sleeve for a headboard.

  28. Okay... so where is the window and the bench located in the house? Looks like a lovely entryway vignette, but your entryway seems a bit narrow for this?
