Fall Decor from now and past Junk Chic Cottages

All of the following pics are fall decor from the past Junk Chic Cottages.

Just some pic to get you excited about your own fall decor ideas.

As I was strolling through my past pics of fall decor I found myself a few times looking at decor pieces and saying to myself what the heck happened to that piece!!   Through the moves I think I have given away or somehow pieces came up missing.

Hope you enjoyed a little fall inspiration.  Our weather in Illinois has been so great.  A little bit of summer holding on mixed in with fall nights.  Enjoying these days as much as I can because we here in Illinois all know what follows fall.  Ugh!!!!

I am also excited to say my annual charity girlfriend party will be happening this year.  With Covid our last party was 2020.  This year the party will be the weekend before Thanksgiving.  I cannot wait to get all the sweet girlfriends together to celebrate our love for each other and the fun we have at this party.

I am excited to be working on things for this upcoming party.

Have a great week.  I am working on a solution for my soffits in my kitchen.  Stay tuned hope to have something to show with those.

Hugs,
Kris

  3. So many charming vignettes, Kris. You are a gifted designer. I'm hard pressed to find a favorite out of all the fall decor you've put together. Each one is so special. Anyone can buy a piece and set it out, but it takes someone like you to create the kind of beauty that makes one want to scroll back through and ponder each one. Truly blessed to see what you create. Hugs.

  5. So many goodies here, Kris. I love the wreath with white pumpkin on the door with the sun shining through it! I had to laugh at how you wonder where some of that decor went. I totally get that now. I'm glad you'll be able to have your party this year.

  6. What a fun trip down memory lane. I find myself asking the same question, "what happened to?". Guess I got rid of things in the madness of the move. Hopefully, it is blessing someone else!
Oh how I wish I could come to your party! It'd be so fun to visit with you and Diana if she was there too. Have fun planning!

  7. This was fun to look back at all your fall décor from the past! I don't really have a favorite but pinned them all to my It's Fall Y'All board. You will enjoy planning your annual party with friends. Enjoy your week. Damp here, either rain or very high humidity. Could be snow, you know...ha! xoxo

  14. Thank you for sharing those beautiful Fall Pics. Things are bound to either go astray when moving, or maybe impulsive clear outs. Hugs, Gilly

  15. Kris, you've done so many seasons of beautiful decor that you could have a little pop up sale every so often. They seem to go over well when I see them offered. I always enjoy reading about your girlfriends' party so will look forward to it!

If I had to pick a favorite, I guess I'd pick the beautiful greenhouse terrarium filled with all the autumn goodies, especially the pumpkins and angel. So pretty! 22. Kris, your gorgeous home looks great in any season. I was laughing though at your "what the heck happened to that..." comment. I think that every holiday. I'm always left wondering where something is. This year it's a large brown faux pumpkin. Just disappeared. Glad to hear your party is on!! You must be thrilled and I know it will be fabulous with all your party ideas steeping for so long. xxoo

  25. Kris,
This is one of the bonuses of blogging-reflecting on decorating and joys of the past.
Just like you I have misplaced, given away or lost some décor throughout these recent moves.
Your Decorating, no matter where you are is always beautiful and lovely.
Have a very special and good weekend,
    Jemma

    1. I saw a post that had junk chic cottage written on it and was posted by serendipity. It was a deck with flowers hanging in the corner and I'm interested in how and what was used to hold them in the corner please.
