A little more Valentines Decor

I put up a little more valentines decor on top of my TV armoire and bird house.

Some lambs ear garland with little white beaded hearts and white winter birds.

My sweet little design assistant photo bomber likes the sunshine coming in on "his" new white chair and was on his way to perch himself there while I was taking pictures.

The lamb's ear garland is soft and pretty and I added a string of white beads with white hearts.  The little white birds added some sweetness too.

During these long winter months it feels great when the sunshine is out.  These next few months are so hard for me.  I want to be where it is warm and sunshine is present most days.  Hopefully when Terry retires in a few years we can be snowbirds and fly south for the winter months.

I found a new treasure that I hope to show you soon.  Have a great rest of the week.
Hugs,
Kris

  5. Hi Kris! Goodness, could Buddy be any cuter?! I think not! I think this fall/early winter has been extra cloudy & gray. It was sunny though yesterday and today - and it was glorious! I really like the combo of lambs ear and the pretty white wooden beads. Just the nicest subtle touch of Valentine's decor. Have a super rest of the week! Jane

  8. Love your bright winter look, Kris. You always work your magic no matter the season. I will say, after seeing your homes in person, that your pictures never really do your place justice. There are layers and textures that add to everything and no way to really show them. I hope you have a wonderful night- xo Diana

  17. Very pretty Kris and I love the white beaded heart garland. It's been two winters now that we haven't been able to escape to Mexico and I sure do miss it. The older I get the less I can tolerate our brutal Canadian winters.

  18. It's always lovely to see your assistant in a post! He has such a good mama to be sure he has the best spot in the room, full of sunshine--or snowflakes, as it may be. We're all watching the weather report here, hoping that next Monday's prediction will come true--winds from your part of the country sending more snow down to us! We got 6 inches last week but want more (and I know you'd be glad to give it all to us).

  19. It looks beautiful Kris - I have always loved your armoire! I love the way that Buddy likes to get into the photos, great to have his approval again. I totally understand what you mean about needing sunshine in winter. It's been beautiful and sunny here in UK for the last couple of days. Very cold, but so much better than the mild wet and miserable weather.

  22. I love the lamb's ear garlands...they are so soft looking. Buddy is adorable - my Buddy likes to be in my pictures too while his brother is too busy to sit still, lol. I have decided I like our hot summers over the cold of winter. And I definitely prefer the sunny days. Stay warm. Your home looks very cozy.

  23. Morning Kris....
I don' think I have ever seen the lambs ear garland but it is very soft and pretty and love your beads with the hearts. Lovely as always. I am still trying to get my house undecorated from Christmas but with us both being sick I haven't gotten to far, but oh well, it will happen. Feeling quite a bit better today, just still tired, but
I will take that over the first 36 hrs. lol We have cool weather here this week, but unfortunately haven't gotten to enjoy it, but once the temp goes up just a lil more I want to open all the windows and air out and spray with lysol and change our A/C filter and hopefully that will speed our recovery.
My daughter just called in a panic, she got a call that said spam, but they left a message and this guys was saying I am trying to contact her now to tell her, and she could hear noise in the background that sounded like hospital noise, and she hadn't talked to us since last night, so it scared her that maybe something happened during the night. She was greatly relieved when I answered the phone.....
These spammers......if they would only do something good with their time, what a wonderful thing that would be.
Well hon, you have a great day, and hope you get lots of sunshine today.
    Blessings, Nellie
