Sweet Porch Swing

I had my french window changed up after Christmas with my garden hats and some greens and white roses.
Under this I needed something but since it is at the opening of my living room from the front entry I had to be careful what I could find to put underneath this window arrangement.

I have been looking for a long time for something in this space.  A entry table, cabinet etc. and nothing seemed to catch my eye until I saw this porch swing.

Thought this is kind of cute little swing.
Hard to find the smaller porch swings.

I brought it home and had Terry hang it for me.  I think it finishes this space with a little garden/porch decor.
Thinking of Spring and Summer!

Have you ever found something like this cute porch swing and not know exactly where you will put it but the price was right and you just felt like it needed to come home with you?
That is what happened when I saw this porch swing.

Have a great new week ahead.
Hugs,
Kris

  6. So charming, Kris. I love how you're fearless when it comes to decorating your space, and definitely think outside the box. You inspire me. And yes, I have picked things up for a good price even if I wasn't sure where or how I would use them. I did that with the dry sink I have that I picked up for an amazing price a year ago (maybe longer). It sits in my guest room which is really at this point a store room. LOL One day I will decide how to make it over and I know it will be perfect for that room. Thanks for sharing your creativity, my friend! Have a great week. Hugs.

  9. Very, very cute. I think it's perfect for your spot and gives it some garden charm. I have brought all sorts of things home not knowing what I'm going to do with them but eventually most found a purpose. If it speaks to you and the price is right, it will usually fit somewhere.

  14. It definitely fits right in with your decor! You'll be expecting that someone will sit on it sooner or later, I presume? How will you keep it from damaging the wall?

    1. Hi Ruth,
It is just for decor not sitting on it. It would pull out of the ceiling if someone were to sit on it.

  31. Love your swing. What a cute idea!! Yes. I, too, have bought so many things, as I once read (do not recall what magazine) that if you love something go ahead and get it and you will figure it out later. (lol)...! So I do this alot..and urge my friends to do the same when we are shopping together...which most do not follow my trend. This may be how I became a maximalist..lol You always come up with cute and clever ideas for your homes. Love it. Thanks for sharing and I will look forward to each new vamp up for new swing. :0) Stay cozy and sane as we get through this Winter!!
