Vintage Mannequin Witch

I just got back from my girlfriend weekend escape in SeaSide and Rosemary Beach Florida.  What a gorgeous area and the beaches were just beautiful.  Now I need to prepare for the witch girlfriend party at my house on Friday.

I had an old mannequin so I decided after scrolling Pinterest for inspiration I would make my mannequin into a witch for the party.  Below are some inspiration Pinterest mannequin witches.  Then you will see my mannequin witch.

Inspiration from Pinterest.

This witch is gorgeous.  So much creativity out there in Pinterest Land.

Now for the witch I made with my old dress form.

I took a plain black hat and added the faux flower, crow and gauze ribbon.  I hot glued everything to the witches hat.  Found all the items at Hobby Lobby.

Then I wrapped black gauze around the breast area and added this black tulle skirt I found at Walmart by the costumes.
I had an old camera bag that I put the faux wheat and sunflower into it.  I then used the belt on the camera bag to wrapped it around the waist.   I bought the old witche's shoe at the Found Cottage Market and added it to the camera bag.

I had these old witch shoes in my fall decor bin and added those.  I found this cool broom that looked witchy to me.  All witches must have transportation right!

Here she is already for the party on Friday night.  I will take more pics of the decor as I begin to design my house as a witches haven for all my witch friends attending.

I plan on making my garage into a witch haven.  It is going to be 80 and sunny on Friday so it should be a perfect night to be outside.  We are so above normal for our fall temps but I will take it for this party.

Stay tuned for more posts as I get more decor up and ready for the party.

Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Kris

  5. She's a beauty, Kris! While scrolling through your post photos of inspiration, I realized we had made a glam witch for our booth one year. I had a really cute 2 pc outfit one of my girls wore to a formal dance that looked like a ballerina costume - black tulle skirt with a boned bodice. It came from Delia's - remember that store? ::) Glad you had a good trip in FL.
