Fun Shopping Nutcrackers

Happy "Black Friday".  Hope your Turkey day was great.  I have been collecting these sweet nutcracker shopping girls from my three favorite stores.  This year the girls got a "boyfriend" nutcracker that also enjoys shopping my favorite stores.

I put them up this year on the shelf behind my desk.  I am normally not a big collector of things but since my friends and family tease me about my addiction to these stores it only seemed right that the nutcrackers needed to be part of my Christmas decor!

I think my favorite one is the Marshalls shopping girl with her sweet little dog.  I also love her blue and white ensemble she is sporting.
Speaking of shopping this is supposed to be the biggest shopping day.

I am one that is done by Thanksgiving.  The crowds and crazy is too much for me.  I get done early!

How about you? Do you shop early or do you wait until it is closer to Christmas?

Have a great weekend.  They are predicting a lot of snow for us tomorrow.  We are going to transition quickly from fall and Thanksgiving to winter wonderland.
Hugs,
Kris

  3. They are adorable! I agree with you on your favourite one! I'm never as organised as I should be, but don't have too many presents to buy. I've done two so far and handed one over to my hairdresser and the other I will hand over tomorrow. The churches in our town have all got together and put labels on a tree asking for presents for people in the community. I chose the option for an elderly lady and have really enjoyed putting a present together for her - I just hope that she likes it. Gilly (UK)

  4. Those are too adorable, Kris! It looks like they're small enough that they don't take up a lot of space, too. I wonder if they have those out still? My gf and I are big HG shoppers. I don't do a lot of shopping, but my sister Marcie & I are doing specialty store (small businesses) shopping yesterday and today. My kids went down to the center of Christmas crazy yesterday, and Jacqueline was in the middle of it all. They had inflatables down our main street, and 154 Christmas trees along a city center walkway, lighting up the main tree last night. It's festive, but too people-y (and cold!) for me!

  5. Those are cute especially the Santa. I would nix the free advertising for the corporations on the bags...they don't need any free publicity as the scam the poor consumers.

  8. Those shopping nutcrackers are so adorable and look great on the shelf. I have been doing a lot of online shopping and in the stores already. I do not like big crowds of people in the stores. I hope you stay inside all warm and cozy.

  10. Hello Friend,
I love nutcrackers and I have a collection. I have two that are music boxes.
I love your shopping girls and now a boyfriend. :-)
How much snow did you end up with?
We have 8 inches, we are cleaned up and getting ready for the cold to set in.
