This was so easy peasy. Terry cut the panels to fit the wall and then we spackled and lightly sanded and painted the shiplap. It gave a nice clean look to the walls.

It looks much bigger and brighter.

We put it up on this wall and the wall over our sectional. Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend. Hugs, Kris

Yes, sometimes it takes trying things before you find the right look. It fits you and your style perfectly. But now, inquiring minds want to know…. What happened to the fence pickets? 😊

Lol I sold the picket fence piece. It was actually a headboard and a lady I know wanted it for her garden design bedroom. So it went to a good home.
DeleteIt all looks so beautiful, Kris! I was wondering what you did with the fence piece, too, but I see you were asked and answered that in the above comment. I always say that you and Terry make such a great team. I hope you have a relaxing, peaceful weekend. xo
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely Kris. You too are always working on projects. So glad the picket fence piece was sold to a lady who wanted a garden headboard. I wonder what look, fall will bring. I still love the wall of mirrors. I hope you are enjoying summer. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI love it, Kris. Aren't we the luckiest on the planet. We have happy imaginations and we can change our minds just like that! I love it! Your adorable house is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe just sold the old house.... in two days! I am still in shock. We got a lot for it. 100K over asking. still shocked. - not trying to think too much about the tax repercussions 😂
I am pretty close to spending 1/3 of that amount on lights and upgrades for my new cute house.
This restyle is perfect and it turned out very nice!!
It looks beautiful and thx for posting the link! How did Terry affix the shiplap to the walls?
ReplyDeleteKris, I ADORE this look!! I think you nailed it...the shiplap looks fantastic, I love that you kept that wallpaper on the one wall (for now anyway...hahaha!) and that shelf is just dreamy! I believe this is my favorite look yet. It really suits the house and makes all your gorgeous pieces pop. Sometimes it takes a while to get there...I know you know I'm exactly the same...but when it comes together it's so worth it! Kudos to Terry for his craftsmanship and to you for your design! xxoo Enjoy the weekend!!
ReplyDeleteLove love love it! I have had shiplap in my living room and entry way for years and I still love it. Margy in KY
ReplyDeleteI love the shiplap....so pretty! Everything looks so beautiful as always!!!

Both renditions are beautiful, but I do like the shiplap and shelf slightly better. I'm glad you kept the wallpaper surrounding your sliders and window. It looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love shiplap. :-) We have some in our home too. Your home is beautiful. I am so glad you share all your projects and decor with us.

Kris, I love what you and Terry have done. I like both looks, but the shiplap and shelf are less busy. Everything you do is always lovely and chic! Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove it Kris! I love "white" anything, especially the look of white paneled wood. Reminds me of an old beach house my family used to go to when I was a little girl. All the wood inside was painted white, cupboards, furniture, etc. and with royal blue touches of checkered curtains, pillows, etc. I always wanted a blue and white kitchen after that! I don't think I ever did get one, or even the white painted wood. Had some knotty pine in one house, but never did paint it! Your shiplap looks so nice. Love our touches of the light peach flowers too! xoxo Marilyn
