Prayers for a sweet blogging friend.

Covid is Real my friends.

Marty from A stroll through Life just lost her loving husband Jim to Covid.  They both were having fun and enjoying their pool and each other just three weeks ago.  Today he has gone to his heavenly home.
No underlying conditions for him.  Both got Covid.
She survived and he did not.
This really makes it real when our sweet blogging family members are affected by this hideous virus.
Prayers for Marty and her family.
So sorry Marty for this loss.  My heart is breaking for you.
Please stay safe.

  16. This breaks my heart, Kris. I will certainly pray for Marty. Losing a spouse is devastating. Especially when he was your soulmate. I know, I’ve been there. Hugs.

  17. Marty had asked for prayer when Jim was put on the ventilator. I had no idea she had the virus as well. This is such sad news. Will continue to pray for Marty's full recovery and for her and her family as they adjust to life without Jim. Another blogger I follow, Brenda Kinsel, passed away last Sunday. Not from Corona virus but from a deadly side effect of a medication. Most of the time we do not know these people personally but have a relationship through the written word and images of a blog. xoxo

When I saw this on facebook, I was speechless!! I felt so awful that this had to happen to someone to "know" Up to this point no one I know personally was affected to this extent by this pandemic...I do know plenty of people who have recovered , having little symptoms but this shook my to my core... Prayers for Marty and her family......

  29. This is very sad. My mind is blown by the naysayers. Yes it is real. My mind is also blown away over how many people will still be ill even when they survive. My friend's husband died. It's no joke. Take care.

  31. Kris, I am so sad to hear about this. I'm so frightened over this virus. We have many friends we are close to that laugh at our mask wearing and tell us the virus isn't real. Our country is being ripped apart over this and I'm losing faith. Prayers to all.

  33. so devastating. Any passing of a beloved spouse is tragic, but somehow it seems even more so due to acquiring this awful virus. From happy and healthy and expecting to live out your remaining years together to suddenly stricken.
    My condolences for their family.

  38. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm so sorry for Marty and her entire family. Covid is very real and I wish the younger kids would wear their masks, I see them in groups walking and talking closely and they do not have masks on. I'm saying extra prayers.
